The gorgeous Bessie came to us several months ago from her rescue BRNGB with some marked issues and general reactive behaviour with humans.
With diligent work she has done really well and she is overall, a happy little girl. However she has not been able to surmount all of her problems so we have had to make the difficult decision to keep her here with us.
She just finds it all too much being held and picked up and to expect her to be able to function as a normal dog in a domestic environment would endanger her as her bite risk is just too high if she is not handled correctly.
She has a sanctuary space here in the log cabin which is a half way house between a kennel and house and she will live there with her pal Gordon. She loves sanctuary life because she can be as bossy as she likes! She seems to know she is safe here and makes us laugh when she burns about the patio and paddocks with her friends, Harley, Gordon and Maisie.
