Our Gorgeous special boy Dave is ready to pack up his treasured duvets and move from the standard kennel he has been in during rehab and spread out his paws to a more spacious house that he will have lots of room to play in. As we mentioned in our last blog, he is safe enough now for us to interact with him in a larger space and he really needs an extra large one because he's a big bouncy lad who just adores rope ladders, tyres on ropes and hula hoops etc to play with and keep him entertained.
If you read our previous blog you will know that Dave has Downs Syndrome and it is key for our sanctuary dogs, especially those with brain damage, processing disorders and special needs to have tailored housing with lots of activities, sensory toys and games that specifically match their needs, keep them cognitively busy and engaged and most of all happy. Dave remains highly dog aggressive and therefore his best friends are of course us and his toys and we need to get a whole playground up for our boy in which he can have hours of fun and stimulation. So with that in mind we have set up a few things on our Amazon Wishlist in the hopes that you may have some spare pennies to gift him something he needs to keep that massive smile on his face :)
P.S He will still be close enough and able to door bang with Daisy!
Or as always if you prefer to donate a few pennies you can do it through the website here: DONATE
