The Sanctuary has a position available for an ANIMAL CARE APPRENTICE - LEVEL 1 and 2 COURSE FUNDING COVERED including Haddons Training. 16-18 Years. 37 Hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. We are happy to accommodate off site learning - day release. We are seeking applicants with a love for animals, especially dogs and wishing to fulfil an apprenticeship to launch an animal care based career. The role will be mainly outside working and is an active role with the various animals including daily care, cleaning, grooming enrichment and time spent. Applicants need to be 16 - 18 years of age, based locally to Broadwindsor in Dorset and have a means of transport as we are in a rural position. With so many animals we always need practical help and volunteers are vital to us. If you share our dedication and passion for giving animals a better life please get in touch. We have acres and acres of wonderful countryside to enjoy and a wide variety of jobs including walking, grooming, food prep, grounds maintenance, gardening or even just play or quiet company. Whatever you can do, whatever time you can spare we NEED YOU!
