All of our Sanctuary dogs have an enriched, happy life and are loved but of course there is a monetary cost attached to saving and housing an animal for life and on average it costs us £25 a week to keep a dog which includes food, treats, vet care, bedding etc, etc. Doesn't sound much does it? But remember with us you have to multiply it by 100 as that's how many permanent residents we have and some of them have equipment needs, regular meds, special diets and so on and so forth and the large breeds are HUGE eaters! So that's £2,500 a week conservatively, £10,000 a month, £120,000 a year.

Given those statistics, your gift of £10 for a large breed dog is so very much appreciated.
